Taylor, 33, stole the show by winning an impressive nine out of the 11 categories she was nominated in at the award ceremony. Both ladies looked absolutely stunning at the event.
She flaunted her long legs in a stylish blue denim corset mini dress, paired with silver platform heels to add some height. Taylor completed her look with a coordinating handbag and her classic red lipstick. On the other hand, Selena opted for a striking purple satin corset mini dress that accentuated her curves, finishing off the outfit with sleek black pointed heels.
Saweetie arrived at the afterparty with sleek black hair and delicate gold accessories, wearing a blue corset mini dress that showed off her figure. Throughout the star-studded event, Taylor and Selena were spotted sharing sweet friendship moments, including a heartfelt hug.
Both celebrities cheered each other on from the audience as they accepted their respective awards – Gomez taking home the Best Afrobeats Video award for her collaboration with Rema on ‘Calm Down’, and Swift sweeping four wins for her album Anti-Hero. Taylor dominated the night by winning in nine out of the 11 categories she was nominated in, including the prestigious Artist of the Year award. The ceremony took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The talented artist nabbed Album of the Year for their hit record Midnights and also scored the title of Show of the Summer. Not to mention, they racked up six awards for their awesome video and track for Anti-Hero.
